DMLT (Diploma in Medical Lab Technology)

The duration of Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician course is 3 years and it is affiliated with the AICTE & DTE. The duties of a Diploma in Medical Laboratory technician are to collect, store and preserve samples of blood and other bodily fluids, perform analysis and examination of bodily fluids, determine the chemicals in the Urine and check their levels. It involves an analysis of body matter such as fluid, tissue, and blood. It also covers microorganism screening, chemical analyses, and cell count. These professionals, medical lab technicians, and technologists play an important role in collecting information, sampling, testing, reporting, and documenting medical investigations.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates, who are interested in pursuing the course of Diploma in Medical Lab Technician must make sure that they are eligible enough. The eligibility criteria can be found below:-

  • The candidates must have qualified their 10th with a minimum of 50% with any recognised board.
  • The age of the candidate must be between 16 to 28 years at the time of admission.
  • The applicant can qualify the AIE CET to get admission to PM Polytechnic.
